Villa Mamas
A beloved restaurant, refreshed without losing the mama.
Villa Mamas has fed Bahrain for over a decade. The rebrand had one rule from the founder: “If my regulars notice, you have failed.”
Refresh, not replace
We kept the warmth and the hand-drawn feel, tightened the wordmark, and built a menu system with coral accents and generous type that is readable in candlelight. The interiors got a quiet graphic layer — coasters, table cards, a mural — that new guests photograph and regulars barely register.

My regulars did not notice. The new customers did. Exactly what I asked for.
