Tanoor Roastery
A Manama roastery with a name you can smell.
Three friends, one roaster and a lot of opinions about beans. Tanoor needed an identity that could sit on a shelf next to the big imports and win.
Naming
We named it after the clay oven every Bahraini grandmother swears by. It says heat, patience and home in one word — and it is impossible to pronounce without smiling.

The system
A warm palette pulled from roast levels, a wordmark with the softened corners of the oven itself, and a family of abstract label illustrations — one per origin — printed on unbleached kraft so the shelf reads as a set.

People pick the bag up before they know what is in it. That was the whole point.
Khalid Al Doseri — Co-founder, Tanoor
The result
Stocked in 14 cafés within six months, a wholesale line for hotels, and a second roaster on order.
